Queens Playground horror a hoax

A Queens woman lied about being raped. I worked on this story all day yesterday. The woman claimed to have been raped in East Elmhurst, Queens, as she was walking home from work at 4 AM. But police later determined her story to be false (for reasons stated in the article).

I had a fun time interviewing people in Spanish. I even stopped by the place where the woman worked: a strip club on Astoria Boulevard that was probably a whore house. When I went inside there were no women dancing or anything, and the place made the Sopranos' Bada Bing look like the Ritz Carlton.
